A Collector’S House In Arnavutkoy

This exceptional house designed by Aga Khan Award-winning architect Han Tümertekin stands as one of the Bosphorus’ rarest examples of contemporary architecture and refined modern living.
Originally a 1940s Bosphorus structure, the house has been reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural vision and brought back to life within a 570 sqm plot, offering 450 sqm of interior living space.
At the heart of the home, the sculptural staircase and gallery void create a powerful architectural spine, strengthening the relationship between the different levels. Natural light pours in from the expansive Bosphorus-facing façade and multiple angles throughout the day, creating ever-changing atmospheres across every floor.
The steel structural system allows for wide spans and flexible living spaces, while the Bosphorus view becomes a natural extension of the interior itself.
Every transition, every perspective, and every detail within the house reshapes the living experience. Much like the artworks it contains, the residence itself stands as a true collector’s piece.
