After graduating from Izmir American College, Irem earned her BA degree from Istanbul Boğaziçi University. After years of experience in exports and marketing in the private sector, in 2007, she transitioned into the real estate sector and started working at Century 21. Since 2010, she has worked as a real estate agent at Space. Irem speaks fluent English and is interested in sports and travelling.
