Born in Ankara in 1978, Can Batukan began his education at TED College and continued at Saint Joseph French High School in Istanbul. After graduating with a degree in Economics, he turned his focus to Philosophy, while also actively pursuing music and performing in numerous concerts. Following a period of working in an electro-mechanical contracting firm and his family's business, he completed his PhD at Galatasaray University. Batukan then traveled across Russia and Ukraine, authoring several books on philosophy, and spent three years conducting post-doctoral research on fellowships, focusing on Derrida in Rouen and Leibniz in Paris. After returning to Istanbul post-pandemic to teach philosophy, he relocated to Bodrum with his family three years ago and entered the real estate sector. In September 2025, he joined Space Bodrum, aiming to elevate his professional operations and synergy between Istanbul and Bodrum to the next level. Batukan, who has published six books to date, is married with two children.
